USCIS Announces H-2B Numbers as of November 1, 2004

USCIS announced yesterday that it has received H-2B petitions for 33,153 beneficiaries toward the fiscal year 2005 cap of 66,000. It indicates that it generally needs to approve 100,000 beneficiaries to fully utilize the cap numbers.
